The Ex-President Who Wouldn’t Leave

Here’s yet another situation where Jimmy Carter just doesn’t seem to get the hint that as a failed president who did nothing but wreak havoc on our country and the rest of the world during his joke of a presidency, that his opinions are really not as welcome as he thinks they are.
This guy is like that senile old guy that lives around the corner from you or in your apartment building who can’t help but offer you his “pearls of wisdom” interspersed with some Tourette’s-induced ramblings, to which you just politely nod and move on, wondering if the poor guy took his meds that day and worrying about the poor sap who actually changes this nut’s diapers.
Well, that’s Jimmy Carter in a nutshell, and it’s high time someone gave him his meds and put him out to pasture. I mean serious meds, the kind that would put him in a nice permanent euphoric stupor, where he can enjoy the rest of his life instead of poisoning others’ lives with his inane observations laced with vile, bitter hatred.
This latest gem from the senile peanut farmer really takes the cake. Jimmy Carter went out of his way to visit an Israeli settlement (i.e., very much out of his way) for the sole purpose of, as he put it, “to make sure they (the settlers) understand my own attitude towards Israel, the Jewish population across the world and the Jewish settlements,” the latter which he describes as “”illegal and (an) obstacle to peace.”
The fact that the head of the regional council of Gush Etzion, a large settlement bloc south of Jerusalem, actually gave this rabblerouser the time of of day (and even what they are calling a “briefing”) is beyond me. Carter should be formally designated persona non grata and be prohibited from visiting any of these settlements that he is working so hard to destroy.

I previously posted about the latest rash of scandalous photos coming out of Afghanistan showing U.S. military atrocities under Obama’s command, and wondering if the media would pick up on it the way they did when it was Bush’s army… Well, here’s a twist I wasn’t expecting: yes, one of the U.S. media, Rolling Stone, [...]
Jeffrey Goldberg, a correspondent for the Atlantic, cast a spotlight on yet another disgustingly overt example of pure bias in the mainstream media, particularly at the anti-Semitic Reuters newswire. He points to a Reuters news item which contains the following despicable sentences: Police said it was a “terrorist attack” — Israel’s term for a Palestinian [...]
In the [sparse] reporting of the Palestinians’ massacre of the Fogel family, several newspapers stand out with their distorted sense of “balance”, i.e., where they feel overwhelmingly uncomfortable describing the barbarity of the Palestinians without at least taking a swipe or two at the Israelis, no matter how patently irrelevant or disgustingly disrespectful it comes [...]
