Shalit’s Transfer “Imminent”

I don’t know if this is directly related to the subject of my previous post, Human Rights Watch Targets Hamas For A Change, but Haaretz is reporting breaking news that, according to European sources, Gilad Shalit’s transfer to Egypt is “imminent”.
Whether this means that his release is also “imminent”, or what “imminent” actually means, remains to be seen. But, this is definitely exciting news.
Not to put a damper on it, but there is also mention of freeing Palestinian prisoners in exchange. One can only hope that Israel has the sense to stick to its guns and not to release any of those with blood on their hands, i.e., those involved in the terrorist murder of civilians.
