FoxNews is reporting that several consumers recently noticed charges on their credit cards of about $23 quadrillion, some of them for buying a mere pack of cigarettes!
Josh Muszynski, one of the consumers, swiped his card when buying a pack of cigarettes at a gas station and later in the day noticed a charge for $23,148,855,308,184,500 on his credit card. “I thought somebody had bought Europe with my credit card,” was his response (not knowing, of course, that these days Europe can be had for bargain basement prices).
This appears to have been some system glitch at Visa and has affected several people.
