Bedouin Sheikh Takes Up Noble Cause

In the midst of all the depressing news of anti-Semites all over the world, and especially in the Middle East, it’s a breath of fresh air to hear about a Bedouin sheikh who has the guts to take up the cause of Gilad Shalit, traveling throughout Israel to express solidarity, raise awareness and gather signatures.
(Of course, one cannot expect news like this to not to come coupled with a dark side, and so, naturally, this noble Bedouin has been getting death threats and gunfire from his Arab brethren, and even denouncement in the local Arab newspapers.)
So, I just wanted to take a minute to give this brave Bedouin sheikh the recognition and respect he deserves for standing up for what’s right in the face of the disgraceful pressure of his Arab brethren.
