Looks like there’s more dirt associated with Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX): one of the town hall attendees privileged to ask a question (one not ignored in favor of a cell phone, that is), was apparently a plant, or at least a poser. Roxana Mayer (who happens to have been a Texas delegate for Obama) passed herself off as a doctor at the meeting, when in fact she was nothing but a student (and not a medical student either).
The Patterico’s Pontifications blog did quite a bit of research digging up her identity and even got confirmation by email from her apparent email address (see the various links on that site; this has been an ongoing post for some time on that blog).
Of course, Sheila Jackson Lee denies any knowledge of this, but I find it hard to believe, considering her colorful history as a congresswoman. The congresswoman who cried wolf…
Regardless, Patterico has more juicy details associated with Mayer’s attendance:
I don’t know if Jackson Lee had anything to do with Mayer’s attendance. But I do know that Mayer was invited to the event by a radical Obama supporter who ran an Obama campaign office that sported a picture of Che Guevara.
Mayer yesterday told me that she was invited to the town hall meeting by a listserv message sent by Maria Isabel, who ran an Obama campaign office sporting a Che Guevara flag…
To add to the intrigue, Hot Air yesterday revealed that Mayer was an organizer for Obama’s Organizing for America. So you have two Obama activists sitting in the front together, one of whom invited the other via a listserv [and the two of whom are Facebook friends]. One is a Che Guevara fan and the other lies about being a doctor.

I previously posted about the latest rash of scandalous photos coming out of Afghanistan showing U.S. military atrocities under Obama’s command, and wondering if the media would pick up on it the way they did when it was Bush’s army… Well, here’s a twist I wasn’t expecting: yes, one of the U.S. media, Rolling Stone, [...]
Jeffrey Goldberg, a correspondent for the Atlantic, cast a spotlight on yet another disgustingly overt example of pure bias in the mainstream media, particularly at the anti-Semitic Reuters newswire. He points to a Reuters news item which contains the following despicable sentences: Police said it was a “terrorist attack” — Israel’s term for a Palestinian [...]
In the [sparse] reporting of the Palestinians’ massacre of the Fogel family, several newspapers stand out with their distorted sense of “balance”, i.e., where they feel overwhelmingly uncomfortable describing the barbarity of the Palestinians without at least taking a swipe or two at the Israelis, no matter how patently irrelevant or disgustingly disrespectful it comes [...]
