It’s official. Van Jones, the controversial “green jobs” czar (one of Obama’s 3,402 czars) is out. Gone. Sure, they’re not going to tell you that Obama realized how much this idiot’s appointment was hurting him and that’s why he gave him the boot, so instead they’ll make it look all nice and polite and tell you that Van Jones quit on his own (as though he wanted to quit all along).
The only problem with trying to pass it off as though he quit on his own is that he spent the better part of his short tenure in that position boasting about his new job. He would even interrupt his own speeches to say stupid things like “hi, mom! look at me!” (seriously!). So, to actually pretend that he left on his own is ridiculous.
Another ridiculous point that was made was when Jones said in his resignation statement “opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me… they are using lies and distortions to distract and divide.” Exactly which part of the recorded statements were lies? Exactly which 9-11 conspiracy theory petitions signed by Van Jones were lies? It’s absolutely amazing how, when confronted with solid evidence of his stupidity and arrogance, he can actually claim that our own eyes and ears are lying.
Good riddance to this idiot. Now, let’s move on with some new “lies and distortions” about some of Obama’s other advisors… (or, on second though, maybe we should leave them be if only to let them continue advising Obama’s popularity straight into complete ineffectiveness?)

I previously posted about the latest rash of scandalous photos coming out of Afghanistan showing U.S. military atrocities under Obama’s command, and wondering if the media would pick up on it the way they did when it was Bush’s army… Well, here’s a twist I wasn’t expecting: yes, one of the U.S. media, Rolling Stone, [...]
Jeffrey Goldberg, a correspondent for the Atlantic, cast a spotlight on yet another disgustingly overt example of pure bias in the mainstream media, particularly at the anti-Semitic Reuters newswire. He points to a Reuters news item which contains the following despicable sentences: Police said it was a “terrorist attack” — Israel’s term for a Palestinian [...]
In the [sparse] reporting of the Palestinians’ massacre of the Fogel family, several newspapers stand out with their distorted sense of “balance”, i.e., where they feel overwhelmingly uncomfortable describing the barbarity of the Palestinians without at least taking a swipe or two at the Israelis, no matter how patently irrelevant or disgustingly disrespectful it comes [...]
