Remember that widely circulated YouTube video of those two Black Panther buffoons in black berets, black combat boots, and black jackets intimidating voters at a polling station in Philadelphia with racial insults, slurs, and a nightstick?
You may or may not have heard that Obama’s attorney general, Eric Holder, decided to dismiss the case with no explanation. (After all, do we really need a fake explanation when we all know that thanks to goons like that, Obama was able to rack up more votes?)
Well, the Washington Times, in an exclusive, is reporting that Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX), ranking Republican on the House Judiciary Committee who first raised questions about the case’s dismissal was recently sent a letter by the Justice Department’s Office of Professional Responsibility indicating that it has initiated an inquiry into the matter.
“I am pleased that someone at the Justice Department is finally taking the dismissal of the New Black Panther Party case seriously,” Mr. Smith said Wednesday. “The Justice Departments decision to drop a case against political allies who allegedly intimidated voters on Election Day 2008 reeks of political interference.”
Mr. Smith said the department’s refusal to provide Congress with an explanation for the dismissal “only further raises concerns that political favoritism played a role in this case.”
“Voter intimidation threatens democracy,” he added. “These cases must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law without political considerations. I look forward to seeing the results of the Departments investigation.”

I previously posted about the latest rash of scandalous photos coming out of Afghanistan showing U.S. military atrocities under Obama’s command, and wondering if the media would pick up on it the way they did when it was Bush’s army… Well, here’s a twist I wasn’t expecting: yes, one of the U.S. media, Rolling Stone, [...]
Jeffrey Goldberg, a correspondent for the Atlantic, cast a spotlight on yet another disgustingly overt example of pure bias in the mainstream media, particularly at the anti-Semitic Reuters newswire. He points to a Reuters news item which contains the following despicable sentences: Police said it was a “terrorist attack” — Israel’s term for a Palestinian [...]
In the [sparse] reporting of the Palestinians’ massacre of the Fogel family, several newspapers stand out with their distorted sense of “balance”, i.e., where they feel overwhelmingly uncomfortable describing the barbarity of the Palestinians without at least taking a swipe or two at the Israelis, no matter how patently irrelevant or disgustingly disrespectful it comes [...]
