U.S. “Occupation” of Haiti

Our old “friends”, the French, are at it again, this time accusing us of “occupying” Haiti! Maybe the U.S. should start thinking about just sitting out the next few disasters and letting the world crumble away while all the ungrateful idiots around the globe suddenly are faced with much more responsibility and dire consequences. (Hey, let’s see how the French would solve this one. Come to think of it, how have they helped Haiti so far?!)
Speaking of “occupation”… funny how it gets used more and more these days, and not just for Israel. Like so many people have said all along: if Israel is not staunchly defended and all the world’s ridiculous accusations pointed out for their stupidity and invalidated, it’s just a slippery slope until the United States is accused of all the same things.

Jeffrey Goldberg, a correspondent for the Atlantic, cast a spotlight on yet another disgustingly overt example of pure bias in the mainstream media, particularly at the anti-Semitic Reuters newswire. He points to a Reuters news item which contains the following despicable sentences: Police said it was a “terrorist attack” — Israel’s term for a Palestinian [...]
In the [sparse] reporting of the Palestinians’ massacre of the Fogel family, several newspapers stand out with their distorted sense of “balance”, i.e., where they feel overwhelmingly uncomfortable describing the barbarity of the Palestinians without at least taking a swipe or two at the Israelis, no matter how patently irrelevant or disgustingly disrespectful it comes [...]
