RabbiLive.com has posted an explosive video on YouTube showing Helen Thomas, the most famous member of the White House press corps, making unbelievably insensitive anti-Semitic remarks, telling Jews to “get the hell out of ‘Palestine’” and to “go home” to Germany and Poland. To add insult to injury, these comments were made while attending the White House Jewish Heritage Celebration!

Maybe the old hag forgot that the Jews lost all their “homes” around the time that they were herded up and marched into gas chambers and ovens. As Jeff Dumetz says, addressing that witch in a column he wrote immediately after that video broke, “you do remember the Holocaust right? Heck you’re old enough to remember the Crusades”! Or, maybe, being of Arab lineage herself, she just chose to rewrite the Holocaust completely out of history like so many of her people have already done.

She has since issued a half-hearted apology on her web site, saying, “I deeply regret my comments I made last week regarding the Israelis and the Palestinians. They do not reflect my heartfelt belief that peace will come to the Middle East only when all parties recognize the need for mutual respect and tolerance. May that day come soon.”

Isn’t it ironic that her heartfelt belief that peace will come when there is mutual respect and tolerance comes right on the heels of the most disgusting display of disrespect and intolerance? Spoken like a true hypocrite.

I join many others in calling for the job of this Nazi witch. Let her go back “home” to her parents’ Lebanon and find a job there.

The fallout has been rapid so far.

Already, her agent dropped her as a client, a prominent DC suburb high school canceled her appearance at their graduation, and an author who collaborated with her on her last book has issued a statement saying that he “will no longer be working with Helen on our book projects”.

Bari Weiss wrote a piece in the Wall Street Journal last week decrying the history of Jerusalem being rewritten quite openly by the Palestinians to no one’s apparent concern.

She describes how Palestinian textbooks and guidebooks always acknowledged the importance of Jerusalem to the Jewish nation until recent decades when the Palestinians quite openly (and virtually unchallenged by anyone) decided to remove all such acknowledgments from their media and instead to go so far as to call such claims “lies”.

This is done quite simply “to undermine Israel, which earned statehood in 1948 and captured the Old City of Jerusalem during the Six Day War of 1967. Since then, Palestinian leaders have fought to erase any Jewish connection to sacred places, particularly the Temple Mount.”

In my opinion, the most important paragraph of that piece is toward the beginning, when she states that:

As President Barack Obama and his foreign-policy team gear up to propose yet another plan for Israeli-Arab peace, they would do well to focus less on important but secondary issues like settlement growth, and instead notice that top Palestinian intellectual and political leaders deny basic truths about the region’s most important city.

This should be stated even more forcefully. Yes, she ends the piece with the sentence, “this is no foundation for ‘peace talks‘,” but I feel that this is an issue of huge importance that does not garner nearly enough attention in the global spotlight. Why is it that the Palestinians are permitted to rewrite history like this? Why does no one care that an entire generation of Palestinians are growing up learning that the Jewish link to Jerusalem is a “lie”?

At least some attention (of course, not nearly enough) is given to their Holocaust revisionism, but why does this related brand of revisionism go virtually unnoticed?

If Obama—or anyone, for that matter—is serious about peace, this is one major topic that needs to be addressed and, even more so, should be at the forefront of the agenda. After all, how long will peace really last with the Palestinians when their entire next generation is indoctrinated to see the Jews as supposed chronic liars?

The vile Archbishop Desmond Tutu had some choice words for Haaretz (and all Israelis and even Jews) recently.

Here are some notable quotes from this anti-Semite and Nobel Peace Prize winner (the two often go hand in hand) :

• “The lesson that Israel must learn from the Holocaust is that it can never get security through fences, walls and guns.”
• “[the West was consumed with guilt and regret toward Israel because of the Holocaust] as it should be… But who pays the penance? The penance is being paid by the Arabs, by the Palestinians. I once met a German ambassador who said Germany is guilty of two wrongs. One was what they did to the Jews. And now the suffering of the Palestinians.”
• “…my own positions are actually derived from the Torah. You know God created you in God’s image. And we have a God who is always biased in favor of the oppressed.”

How a disgustingly outspoken clown like this ever got where he got is just unbelievable.

Here’s a bizarre story. Reuters is reporting that Hamas condemned the United Nations for teaching Palestinian children in Gaza about the Holocaust.

The normal, expected response in a sane world should be the United Nations stating that their representation of the global community mandates them with the responsibility to be true to history, as well as not to whitewash the biggest genocide in history. And that is aside from the fact that the violent revisionist Palestinian terrorists (and the resulting turmoil in the Middle East) could really benefit from a dose of empathy and understanding, rather than continuing this vile habit of Holocaust-denial.

But, being that we’re living in a twilight zone world, and being that we’re talking about the shamelessly corrupt United Nations here, and not some actual noble altruistic organization, the response from the UN was a flat-out denial that they’re even teaching such a thing.

Chalk up yet another reason to stop funding that cesspool of corruption, hatred, and anti-Semitism, and to kick them out of New York. Let them build their headquarters in Qatar or Dubai and leave the U.S. alone. Let the Arabs fund their Holocaust-denying efforts and stop coming to us for money.

In my previous post, I mentioned the likeliness of Obama’s using his Buchenwald visit to deflect criticism and attention from his shunning of Israel.

Well, I know I can dish out criticism very easily, so let me make a point to dish out some praise of Obama for a change (oh, how I am growing to dislike that C word).

I am referring to a recent interview of Obama conducted by Tom Brokaw on NBC.  In this interview (at the 4:05 mark), Brokaw disgustingly poses a loaded leading question to Obama. Obama was able to ignore the juicy bait and instead take the high ground with his response.

(Granted, the first sentence was the best part of the answer, and its praiseworthiness deteriorated with each subsequent rambling sentence, but that is almost to be expected with Obama’s non-teleprompted answers.)

The exchange was:

Brokaw: What can the Israelis learn from your visit to Buchenwald, and what should they be thinking about their treatment of the Palestinians?

Obama: Well, look, there’s no equivalency here.

What moral equivalency and false parallel is Brokaw trying to draw with such a question?  A question like that only serves to illustrate what Brokaw’s real opinions are of such bizarre equivalencies.

Hopefully, his career arc will follow that of Dan Rather’s, ending in the scandal and shame that he deserves.
